Power Amplifier with HIL setup for drive application

This video presents a Power-Hardware-In-the-Loop (P-HIL) setup comprised of Typhoon HIL404 and a 4-Quadrant Power Amplifier from ITECH.
In the presented setup, the drive model is being simulated in real-time on a HIL device. Current values are measured in the simulated motor in the model and are outputted to the Power Amplifier. This device then amplifies these signals and feeds the real motor.
As demonstrated, the user is able to see the response in a change of control reference in both a simulated motor drive and a real motor.
